Yue Lin graduated from UWA in 2005 with a double degree - Bachelor of Commerce/Arts (Honours First Class). She pursued further studies with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Risk Management and Governance, and she is a current Fellowship member of the Governance Institute of Australia. She currently works as the Senior Privacy Risk & Compliance Advisor in the Enterprise Risk, Strategic Governance Services Centre of Edith Cowan University.
Yue Lin brings over 12 years' experience specialising in Governance, Risk & Compliance roles in Banking & Financial Services and Higher Education sector. She is especially passionate about practical risk management activities and continuous improvement of processes for the benefit of everyone's study/work, health and well-being experiences.
Reasons for joining the Board:
Yue Lin sought out the role of independent board member to contribute back to local community through her experience and knowledge. As the first in her immigrant family to go to university, she understands that the availability of alternative paths in the education and development opportunities is invaluable for personal growth and hopes to contribute or 'pay-it-forward' in some small way.

Yue Lin is a fur-mother of 3 bratty Maine-coons and live with her long-time fiancé. In spare time, she likes to read light novels and cook for friends and family.
